Poggio
Poggio

Bollito misto returns to Poggio, running from Tuesday February 3rd–Saturday February 7th. I had a chance to check it out last year, and it’s downright tasty, and quite the meaty feast. A special heated cart (carello) wheels up to your table, and a server will cut and serve a selection of seven slowly simmered meats. The selection includes house-made cotechino sausage, lingua (tongue), brisket, veal breast, coda (oxtail), and capone (chicken), served with an accompanying mostarda di Cremona and a few other sauces. The a la carte price is $19 and includes a selection of meats, potato puree, and sauces. There are also some special antipasti and pastas to choose from, in addition to the regular menu.
