If you’re traveling to San Francisco from the San Joaquin Valley or Southern California, Amtrak San Joaquin service travels five times daily to the San Francisco Bay Area via Fresno and Stockton. Amtrak Capitol Corridor service offers up to 32 trains running between Sacramento and the Bay Area giving you the freedom to select a train to match your schedule. Both services feature coach seating and a café car offering hot entrees, sandwiches, snacks, and beverages.
