The marriage of wine and cheese predates the Roman Empire. Just as gourmet foods have evolved in the United States, so have exceptional handmade cheeses, which many feel are a natural complement to handcrafted wine. This presentation begins with a tour of the winery to understand Robert Mondavi's winemaking philosophy. Afterwards, guests will sit down to enjoy a selection of local artisanal cheeses and wines. They will taste both red and white wines with the cheeses and try some new combinations. Time: Sunday 11:00am
