Sheraton Fisherman’s Wharf Hotel Implements a Green Cleaning Process

The Sheraton Fisherman’s Wharf Hotel is excited to announce the start of an environmentally sustainable “green” cleaning process, utilizing a wide range of environmentally friendly products. In partnership with our suppliers, we have reduced the steps necessary to clean areas where chemicals are required, without sacrificing the high level of cleanliness standards that are the hallmark of the Starwood Brand. Guestrooms now also feature blue recycle bins, energy efficient compact florescent lighting fixtures, and will soon have motion sensor air conditioning units. Additionally, with our new hotel wide efforts in separating trash, recyclables and compost, the hotel is able to send all compostables to a local farm where it will be turned into rich soil to be used by organic farmers and local wineries.
