Cappa & Graham is also the first Meeting, Event and Destination Management Company to become a certified San Francisco Green Business (www.sfgreenbiz.org).
Reducing waste by instituting a recycling and composting program, sourcing recycled, third-party certified office supplies, and working with fellow certified Green Businesses are some examples of how Cappa & Graham is working to reduce its environmental impact.

Cappa & Graham, Inc. is the first Meeting, Event and Destination Services Company in North America to receive an internationally recognized Green Accreditation from Green Certifications (www.greencertifications.us).
Cappa & Graham take their Corporate Social Responsibility seriously. Upon entering the industry over a decade ago, they started addressing internal policies affecting their working environment. Today, Cappa & Graham has created a budding environmental relationship with the Port of San Francisco, their landlord, by starting a recycling and composting program for their building. To enhance morale in the office, you can find them at Ocean Beach participating in an annual beach clean-up.
To ensure these efforts continue, Cappa & Graham created the staff position of Environmental Officer, and on January 1st, 2008, they filled that position with Brendan Lange. Brendan has a dual degree in Environmental Studies and Economics from The University of California at Santa Cruz (UCSC). Today he leads Cappa & Graham’s environmental efforts. His research and sourcing of green materials and policies has been instrumental in the success of our clients’ wishes to create Greener Meetings, Events, Tours, and more. He has been the catalyst for Cappa & Graham’s international green business certification and is finalizing an additional certification with the San Francisco Green Business Program.
It is a key goal of Cappa & Graham to identify, monitor and improve all aspects of environmental sustainability on an ongoing basis and to lead the hospitality industry to a future that is environmentally friendly.
