Cruisin' The Castro Tour
Originally founded by Trevor Hailey in 1989, this fun and easy walking tour is for people of all ages. Learn the many fascinating reasons how San Francisco's colorful yesteryears transformed a small farm community into one of the world's most diversified cities.
Tour Highlights:
Gay and Lesbian history from 1849 to present
America's only "Pink Triangle Memorial Park"
Harvey Milk's residence and camera shop
The legendary Castro Theatre
The original site of the AIDS Quilt "No Names Project"
Many unique shops, bars and restaurants
Event Location: Meet at the Rainbow Flag pole at the Harvey Milk Plaza at the corner of Castro and Market streets.
Cancellation Fees: 25+ hours prior to tour date there will be a $10 fee per credit card transaction. Cancellations inside of 24 hours and/or no shows will not be refunded.
