The San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau (SFCVB) has announced a new program to encourage locals to "Escape to the City" and explore what's in their own backyard...a world-class city with unsurpassed shopping; award-winning dining; first class hotels; and outstanding entertainment. A micro site on San Francisco's official Web site directs visitors to a list of calendar events; suggested "Escape to the City" itineraries from local celebrities; suggested itineraries to explore San Francisco's many neighborhoods; user generated comments and videos sharing personal "Escape to the City" experiences; and American Express Exclusive Offers" from San Francisco retailers, hotels, restaurants and attractions.

This program is a complimentary benefit for members interested in promoting their business to the leisure traveler. All offers are hosted on www.onlyinsanfrancisco.com/offers which currently receives over 8,500 unique visitors a day, and on American Express Selects, an online platform that provides Cardmembers with the ability to take advantage of valuable offers. These offers are valid now through Dec. 31, 2010.

Requirements for Participation:
